At 11 AM we boarded our bus for the "Old Town, Palanga Amber Museum & Promenade" tour. Our first stop was the Palanga Botanical Garden.

This statue was constructed in the Garden in 1960. It is called "Eagle and the Serpent" based on a one of the best-known Lithuanian fairy tales with many references to Baltic mythology.
